As your photographer, my hope is that we come out of our experience together as new friends! I aim to tell your story by documenting those grand moments, along with the more quiet and intimate pieces of your life. I want to capture you as your true self—all the epic stories, laughs, and special memories that you will fondly look back upon.

My goal as your wedding photographer is to focus on capturing your story while making sure that your day reflects the authenticity of you as a couple.

I see the transient moments on wedding days that come and go and our longing as humans to relive moments that have passed. I see beauty in all small moments and big ones, as those tend to be the ones we hold dearest to our hearts. My approach to your wedding is lighthearted, and I allow your wedding day to unfold organically while you take in every moment.

CONTRACT & DEPOSIT

To ensure that we can both make the most of our time, I kindly request a deposit when booking your event. This deposit is a way for us to mutually commit and guarantees my availability exclusively for you.

WEDDING DAY

Leading up to your wedding day, I’ll pop in and send you emails to check in with you. We will schedule your engagement session and create your timeline. Before you know it, your wedding day will arrive, and I'll get to be the coolest third wheel capturing it all.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I am based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but travel all over the place. Just let me know where your wedding is taking place so I can provide you with a quote.

  • I send a series of really helpful emails about what to expect when working with me and how the months leading up to wedding day happen. If your collection includes one or you choose to add one, we will schedule your engagement session and start preparing you! Up until the big day, I'll stay in touch with you, and I am always available to answer any questions or chat about the wedding day!

  • Other than family groups, it is my preference that you don't. Hang on, I'll tell you why. While knowing your family members you'll like portraits with and any events that are important to you are very beneficial, frequent demands for posed photos that require me to work off a "checklist" will be detrimental to the quality of the work you see on my website. The gallery can end up looking substantially different as a result. Although having a shot list is a fantastic concept in theory, most of the pictures I take are spontaneous and unprompted. If you provide me with a list of different high school cliques or extended family members, I'll take fewer naturally occurring pictures and create more generic pictures for you.

  • The deposit for your wedding is paid to secure your wedding date. I will turn down other inquiries and bookings for your date, so the deposit is non-refundable by any means. The deposit will be 50% of your full wedding collection and will go towards your total balance.

  • I do not promise a set number of images, but I do provide a minimum with each package depending on the coverage and activity level of your day. I personally believe in less being more and delivering the best of the best on your wedding day. On average, for a full-day wedding of 8 hours, you can expect anywhere between 400 and 700 final images.

  • I’m going to say it till the day I die: you need to print your photos! This is what they are made for! They are not meant to get stuffed into your junk drawer on your USB or hidden away in a folder on your computer; you may end up forgetting where they're buried. They are meant to be proudly displayed throughout your home; they are meant to be printed in beautiful, tangible albums you can touch and share over and over. I have many print options and albums we can create together so that your best moments are not forgotten!
