What You Can Expect Before, During, and After Your Wedding Day

Planning a wedding comes with a lot of moving parts; I know you’re probably overwhelmed with the amount of information at your fingertips. Naturally, a few questions along the way come up. I’ve put together this FAQ to make things easier and help you feel more confident about what to expect when working with me. From how booking works to what happens if the forecast turns stormy, I’ve covered the most common questions here. I do not promise a set number of images, but I do provide a minimum with each package, depending on the coverage and activity level of your day. I personally believe in less being more and delivering the best of the best on your wedding day. On average, for a full-day wedding of 8 hours, you can expect anywhere between 500 and 600 final images.
I’m going to say it till the day I die: you need to print your photos! This is what they are made for! They are not meant to get stuffed into your junk drawer on your USB or hidden away in a folder on your computer; you may end up forgetting where they're buried. They are meant to be proudly displayed throughout your home; they are meant to be printed in beautiful, tangible albums you can touch and share over and over. I have many print options and albums we can create together so that your best moments are not forgotten!
I like to tell clients to think about going to a bakery and receiving a cake that isn’t completed. That is what raw files are. Simply put, they are just completely edited images, and they are incredibly large files to deliver. So to protect myself and my business, I do not, by any circumstances, give raw files.
I deliver 5-10 sneak peek images 24 hours after your wedding day, including a couple reels on Instagram. You can expect your full gallery to be delivered within 6–8 weeks. Couples sessions and boudoir sessions are delivered within 2 weeks of your session.
I accept ACH transfers & cheques.
Most couples book 9–18 months out. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway! I may still be available!
A signed contract and a retainer of 50% officially lock in your date.
My approach is mostly documentary. I’ll step in with gentle direction when needed, but I focus on real, unscripted moments.
Natural, true-to-color, and timeless. Think warm tones, soft light, and no trendy filters that will date your images.
Yes! Available as an add-on. It’s a great way for us to get comfortable together before the big day.
In the rare event of an emergency, I have a trusted network of professional photographers I can call on. You’ll still receive the same level of care and editing from me.
