Fun fact: I genuinely love the editing process. It’s where the story comes together and where I get to shape the final vision into fine-art imagery that feels true to you. I usually dive into edits the moment I get home, and that excitement stays with me until the final gallery is ready.

For smaller sessions, edits are typically completed within 2-4 weeks, while full wedding galleries take about 6–8 weeks. If anything unexpected ever comes up that could delay delivery, I’ll always communicate right away and keep you updated every step of the way.

let me tell you, when someone points a camera at me, I completely forget how to be a human. hands? weird. face? weirder. body? absolutely no idea what to do with it. so trust me when I say, I get it.

that’s why when I photograph couples, my goal is always to make things feel natural and real. every relationship has its own rhythm, physically and emotionally, and my job is to find that. I’ve got a few subtle tricks to help you relax, but honestly, it’s less about posing and more about focusing on each other. think about your partner, the little things you love about them, and the way you make each other laugh.

unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to clone myself yet (working on it though). that’s where a second shooter comes in handy. I always recommend one for larger weddings so every angle and every tiny detail gets covered. if you and your partner are getting ready in different places, they can capture one while I cover the other. if I’m focused on the person giving a speech, they can catch your reactions. it’s teamwork that makes sure nothing important slips by.

this is hands down the question I get asked most. the best way to figure it out is to jump on a quick call or zoom chat and walk through your day together. we’ll talk about everything—getting ready, travel time, portraits, speeches—all the little pieces that make up the full picture. my goal isn’t to upsell you or push hours you don’t need, it’s to build a timeline that actually fits your day. by the time your wedding rolls around, we’ll have everything mapped out so you can just relax and enjoy it.

every photo you get from me is hand-edited and color corrected by me. my editing style is a big part of what makes my work my own, which is why I don’t outsource edits or deliver raw, unedited files.

on average, my wedding galleries include about 75–100 images per hour, depending on what’s happening and how many people are involved. I shoot less during dinner (no one looks their best mid–bite of chicken) and more during the moments that matter. engagement sessions usually end up with around 100–150 final images.

I don’t believe in editing bodies to look a certain way. my work is rooted in body positivity and real connection—the kind that comes from genuine love, not perfection. we all have skin, folds, curves, and texture. that’s what makes us human, and that’s what I choose to celebrate. the only retouching I do is for temporary things like acne, scars, blemishes, or bruises. I never aim to erase what makes you you. when you look back at your photos, you won’t be focused on how your body looked! You’ll remember how deeply you were loved.

I require a 50% deposit when signing the contract. this secures your date and ensures I don’t accept another booking for that day. because your date is reserved just for you, the deposit is non-refundable and acts as a retainer. the remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding or session, but I’m happy to set up a payment plan to spread smaller installments over time leading up to the big day.

please don’t hesitate to reach out at any point during your planning process. contracts and deposits can only be secured once you have a booked venue (city hall weddings are the exception). this makes sure your date works with my schedule and gives us a solid starting point to plan your wedding day timeline and determine the coverage you’ll need. if you’re considering multiple dates, let me know so I can share my availability.
